BY PARKERS RESTAURANT, DUBAI

Do restaurace Parkers jsem zavítala, dá se říci, náhodou. V Dubai Mall jsem se potkala s kamarádkou, která tady již nějakou dobu žije, a která, po tom, co jsme se přivítaly, začala hned básnit o tomto místě. K tomu, abyste mohli jít dovnitř, musíte mít klíč, který musíte někde najít. Rozdávají se na různých místech náhodným kolemjdoucím. O tom, kde každý den klíč rozdávají, informují na svém instagramu. My klíč měly, a tak jsme se tam hned vydaly. 

I could say that visiting the Parkers restaurant for the first time was by accident. I met my friend, whom has been living in Dubai for quite some time, in the Dubai Mall and she kept talking about this restaurant. To be able to enter this restaurant, you need to have a key. Once you get the key, you can keep it for other visits as well. Places, where the key can be found, are given away on restaurant's official Instagram account. 

Restaurace má skvělé hodnocení, nádherný interiér a ještě lepší jídlo. Personál byl moc milý a my trávily dobrých několik minut nad jídelním lístkem. Nemají zde tolik jídel, jak jste třeba zvyklý z jiných restaurací, přesto jsme měly docela problém s tím, co si vybrat. Vše znělo lákavě a zajímavě - to je nejspíše to pravé slovo. Jídla obsahovala zajímavé kombinace ingrediencí a nám se zbíhaly sliny. Nakonec jsme se rozhodly objednat si po jednom pokrmu z předkrmů, hlavních jídel, příloh i desertu a nemohly jsme udělat lépe. 

Jako předkrm jsme zvolily grilovanou kukuřici s dipem, hlavní jídlo tvořily těstoviny s houbami a burger s hovězím masem a cibulkou (můžu říci, že jsem lepší nejedla?), jako přílohu jsme si vybraly bramborové lupínky s dipem a kořením a zakončily vše desertem v podobě čokoládového zákusku se slanými brambůrkami, politého čokoládou. K pití jsme si na doporučení objednaly černou limonádu, která má pomáhat správnému trávení. Vím, že můj popis jídel za nic nestojí, ale pokud budete kdykoliv v blízkosti této restaurace, zajděte tam, opravdu. Odcházely jsme o dvě hodiny později, přejedené k prasknutí a moc spokojené. Venku před restaurací se mezitím vytvořila obří fronta lidí čekající na volné místo, což určitě také o něčem svědčí.

The restaurant has great reviews, beautiful interior and the food is delicious. The staff was really friendly and they tried to recommend us the food which we would like. We spent so much time deciding what to get because everything sounded so good. The menu included interesting variations of food and we couldn't wait for our food to be delivered. We ended up having the starter, the main course, the side dish and the dessert and we shared all of it. 

As a starter, we chose to have the grilled corn with a dip, the main course consisted of the pasta with mushrooms and the burger with beef meat and the onions (can I say I've never had a better burger?). As a side dish we went for the chips with a dip once again which was really yummy and the dessert was the cherry on top. For the first time ever we tasted the black lemonade which was recommended to us and I still don't remember what it was made of but it was really tasty as well. I know my description of the food doesn't say much, but trust me, visit this place next time you are around. We left the restaurant 2 hours later, so full and happy. In the meantime, there was a huge line in front of the restaurant of all the people desperately trying to get in, which in my opinion, must mean something, right?
