I finally managed to fly back home on January 12th. I got my leave approved and I was ready at the airport almost 4 hours ahead patiently waiting for my plane. I slept only for a couple of hours before heading to the airport but I didn't care a bit. I was flying hooome after almost 3 months! This was the longest time I have ever been away from home. As I am writing this, I am packing all of my stuff again and I am going to the airport tomorrow. So I will be back in Dubai very soon.
I had lovely 6 days back at home and I am so happy I got to see everyone. I spent a lot of time with my family, my friends and I spent a lot of time eating as well. Since I moved to Dubai I haven't been able to settle down yet, everything seemed new to me. And I wasn't able to cook myself a proper food either so when I came back home I enjoyed every second of eating everything which wasn't cooked by me.
I slept like a baby during the first night, it was really nice to be back in my room and in my own bed being waken up by my guinea pig. I think I slept for 14 hours. That's basically all that I have been doing here - sleeping, eating, trying to meet as many people as possible. It was a nice change to see snow everywhere because I only had one wintry cold layover so far.
I should be flying back to Prague again at the beginning of March which is not that far away. In the meantime, I am going to visit so many new places, starting off with India and New Zealand in a couple of days!
